The wait is finally over for Purnima, one of the most popular heroines in Dhallywood, as her fresh movie is going to be released soon after a hiatus. Meanwhile, Chatku Ahmed-directed 'Ahare Jibon,' featuring the actress in the central role, has recently received the censor certificate.
This marks the first collaboration between Purnima and director Chatku Ahmed. The film casts actor Ferdous Ahmed opposite the actress, with both having previously worked together in several movies. Another film they collaborated on is 'Gangchil,' directed by Nayeem Imtiaz Neyamul and based on a story written by veteran politician Obaidul Quader.
Speaking about her role in the movie 'Ahare Jibon,' Purnima said, “Chatku Bhai (filmmaker Chatku Ahmed) is a talented director in this country. Acting in his movies is a new experience for me. Even at this age, Chatku Bhai has put a lot of effort into making the movie. Throughout my acting career, I have had the opportunity to work with many talented directors.”
“I have been immersed in the love of billions of viewers in this country. I am truly touched by the continued support from the audience. I act for the viewers, and they have been eagerly waiting for the release of my new movie for a long time. With ‘Ahare Jibon,’ that waiting period is coming to an end. When the movie is released, the audience is invited to go and watch it,” she added.
In the meantime, Purnima hosted the National Film Awards ceremony in 2022, held on November 14 this year. The actress has previously taken on the role of an anchor for the National Film Awards ceremony on several occasions.
