Newcomer heroine Mondera Chakroborty’s debut film, ‘Kajol Rekha,’ is set to hit the big screen on February 16, on the occasion of the upcoming Valentine’s Day. In addition, the actress has recently involved herself in a new movie titled ‘Neel Chakro.’

After returning home from the USA two days ago, Mondera has become busy with campaigning for her debut movie. She gave interviews to some TV channels on her movie ‘Kajal Rekha.’ Mondera played the titular role in the film directed by Gias Uddin Selim.

Despite turning down many offers, as she committed not to involve in any other movie before completing ‘Kajol Rekha,’ the actress has finally started working on her second movie, ‘Neel Chakra’. She mentioned that the shooting for this movie began on January 15, and today she is joining the shoot in Old Dhaka.

The story idea of ‘Neel Chakro’ came from Angan Poddar, while the movie’s script, screenplay, and dialogue are written by Anajn Sarkar Jimmy. The movie is directed by Mithu Khan, and Mondera will be portraying the character of Raima in it.

Commenting on the release of ‘Kajol Rekha’ and the commencement of shooting for 'Neel Chakro,' Mondera said, ‘Kajol Rekha’ is the first movie of my life. I had received offers for many movies before but declined them. 'Kajol Rekha' might have been a long wait, and even after completing it, I received offers for more movies. However, the director made a special request that before the release of 'Kajol Rekha,’ I shouldn't take on any new projects. I turned down many good stories solely for ‘Kajol Rekha.’ Finally, after a long wait, my first movie is releasing. The wait is ending for me, my fans, my family, and friends. I believe ‘Kajol Rekha’ will become a huge favourite among the audience.’

“I rehearsed before the shooting of ‘Neel Chakro.’ The story is simply great, and I will strive to portray my character 100 percent. The shooting for this movie will continue for a week from today. I seek everyone's blessings for ‘Neel Chakro’ too," the young actress added.

Mandira is highly skilled in dancing. She previously worked as a model in music videos and also acted in dramas. In other words, before stepping into movies, she entered the world of acting by preparing herself for the role.
