Featuring Misha Saudagar and Sabila Nur in the two major roles, the telefilm ‘Sahara Morubhumi’ will be aired today at 3:05 pm on Channel i.

The telefilm is written and directed by Nayeem Imtiaz Neyamul. Shafiq Khan Dilu has also acted in it.

Parul, played by Sabila Nur, is a migrant worker who works as a nurse in a hospital in Saudi Arabia. She arrives in Dhaka one morning with money to operate on her sick mother, who was left in the country. As she exits the airport and enters the parking area, she sees a middle-aged man crying. When asked, he replies that his only sister departed for Dubai just a few moments ago. He can’t tolerate the pain of leaving his sister alone in a foreign country. The gentleman introduces himself as Tajul Mia. Interestingly, he resides in the same locality as Parul. Parul feels encouraged as she finds Tajul, a stranger in the nearby area. They board the bus together and leave for Gabtali. On the way, they both share many happy and sad stories.

After arriving at Farmgate, they change buses. Parul feels very hungry. Tajul, who has now become close as a brother to Parul, quickly brings bread and water. When Parul wants to pay, Tajul sighs and says, 'If you were really my sister, you wouldn’t ask to pay like this today. In reality, a distant person never becomes a relative!”

With such a twist, the story moves forward.
