Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan's Pan-Indian film, 'Dorod,' which has been the talk of the town since the beginning of its production, has roped in many artistes from Bollywood and West Bengal. Director Anonno Mamun has reiterated that another actress named Safa Marua will be a special attraction in this film.
According to the director, Safa is making her debut on the big screen through the film 'Dorod.' The director mentioned that Safa is a special surprise in 'Dorod,' full of twists.
It is known that she is not a foreigner but works in the modelling sector, having modelled for all famous brands in the country. She has also worked in visual media for the last three months. Alongside her modelling career, she holds a corporate job in a private company. ‘Dorod’ marks Safa's first venture into the world of cinema.
Safa shared with the media that though the film was shot in Banaras, India for a month, she gained great experience during the 16 days of shooting.
She said, “Even though I was nervous at the beginning, I gradually tried to become a mature actor. The work has become easier due to everyone's sincere cooperation.
“I worked as a fashion model for two years, always striving to maintain quality. ‘Dorod’ is my first movie, and I have kept that in mind. I believe good job opportunities don't always come, and this movie, made with a great team, is the best for me. Working on-screen with Shakib Bhai (Shakib Khan) and sharing scenes with Bollywood's Rahul Dev felt like destiny.”
Acting on the spur of the moment often yields better results, and Safa believes ‘Dorod’ can be one such moment—much like winning a lottery.
Director Anonno Mamun revealed that the trailer launch ceremony of ‘Dorod’ has been organised, adding, “More than 28 thousand Shakibians (Fans of Shakib Khan) have registered to attend the event. The release date of 'Dorod' will be announced on that day in a grand event.
Bollywood actress Sonal Chauhan stars opposite Shakib in the psycho-thriller romantic film ‘Dorod.’ The film is expected to be released worldwide in five languages at any time except for two Eid occasions.
