Popular small-screen actress Tanjin Tisha-starrer movie ‘Poison’ will be available on the OTT platform. This unexpected revelation came as a surprise from its director, Sanjay Samaddar, known for directing the Tollywood film ‘Manush’ for Jeet. Having recently returned to Dhaka after making his debut, Sanjay has already earned acclaim for numerous fictions in the small screen and web.
According to the makers, 'Poison' promises additional entertainment for the audience. Now, everyone eagerly anticipates its release on DeeptoPlay, with the director mentioning that Deepto authorities plan to launch it as a special film for Eid.
“It's not just an announcement. We have already completed shooting the entire movie. We decided to announce it only after finishing the work, as discussing it beforehand disrupts the filmmaking process. We preferred to quietly focus on the work, and that's exactly what happened,” said Sanjay Samaddar.
'Poison' is written by Mamunur Rashid Tanim. Besides Tisha, the cast includes Abu Huraira Tanvir, Tiger Robi, Rawnak Ripon, Abdullah Al Sentu, AK Azad Setu, SM Sohag, and others.
Sanjay exudes confidence in this movie and expresses great satisfaction with Tisha's performance. He stated, “As a director, I am someone who progresses slowly. Every project is like a test for me to outdo my last work. This film is no exception. It's a suspense thriller filled with brutality, and the tagline is ‘A story of survival.’ I've attempted to portray the various battles a person fights for survival. The audience and critics will be the ultimate judges.”
