Palash Shakil is poised to unveil an original song titled ‘Prothom Premer Gaan’ in celebration of Valentine's Day. Both the lyrics and tune of the song are his own creation.
This duet features Palash Shakil himself alongside vocalist Parsha Mahjabeen Purnee. The musical arrangement for ‘Prothom Premer Gaan’ was crafted by Shariful Islam Sumon, with the recording conducted at his Sound Hacker Studio.
Palash, an architecture graduate from BUET and an alumnus of the esteemed Mirzapur Cadet College, is not only excelling in his architectural pursuits but is also ardently pursuing his passion for music. Additionally, he enjoys a commendable reputation as a caricature artist.
Previously, Palash's band, Cycle, released two songs, titled ‘Sei Bedona’ and 'Aaj Gaan Gao,' under the banner of Ajab Records. Furthermore, recording sessions are currently underway for the release of several more original songs this year.
On the other hand, singer Parsha is making a comeback after nearly three years, concurrently balancing her studies in the BBA department at North South University. She has upcoming projects in the pipeline and has already lent her voice to two songs alongside popular singers Imran Mahmudul and Mahtim Shakib.
In addition to her musical endeavours this Valentine's season, vocalist Purnee is venturing into the realm of acting. Despite her previous appearances in various TVCs and OVCs for brands such as Airtel and Nescafé, this marks her debut in a drama.
Furthermore, Parsha will be starring alongside actor Jovan Ahmed in the popular director Prabir Roy Chowdhury's drama 'Loveline,' with her cherished companion, the singing bird 'Leo the Dinosaur,' perched on her shoulder.
