Popular director Kajal Arefin Ome has captured the hearts of viewers with two Valentine's Day special projects titled 'Dukhkhito' and 'Love Buzz,' released on OTT and YouTube, respectively.
The short film 'Dukhkhito' has already garnered the maximum number of subscribers on the OTT platform Bongo, while the drama 'Love Buzz,' released on YouTube, has been viewed by more than 11 million viewers in just 10 days.
Director Ome said that he portrays every story on screen in his unique style, comfortably from his zone. He expressed his anticipation for the vast audience awaiting the release of his stories.
Ome, renowned for directing the popular serial 'Bachelor Point,' remarked, “The general audience finds entertainment in my work. I believe my hard work pays off here.”
He further mentioned the prevalence of depression in people's lives and their desire for entertainment as an escape, expressing his satisfaction in catering to such a large audience.
Among the short films by four filmmakers under the series ‘Love Stories’ released on Bongo, 'Dukhkhito,' starring Ziaul Hoque Polash and Parsa Evana, emerged as the most popular.
A recent post from Bongo informed that the short film 'Dukhkhito' is leading on OTT in response to audience feedback.
Regarding this, Ome commented, “Viewers have been discussing each scene of this short film in various ways. Many have accessed it by paying through the app. The audience appreciated the fresh portrayal of the Polash and Evana pairing.”
“I cater to the general audience. Every feedback from them is incredible and serves as inspiration for me to strive for better,” he added.
