Ruhani Labonno, a multifaceted talent known for her prowess in dance, presentation, and acting, garners widespread acclaim both domestically and internationally for her hosting abilities.

Her recent acting endeavour was in Murad Parvez's serial ‘Smritir Alpana Anki’, aired on ATN Bangla. However, she has since taken a hiatus from acting, citing her commitment as a mother and her burgeoning schedule as a presenter.

Labonno said, “Being a mother for over a year, I find it challenging to allocate the extensive time required for acting. While I have a fondness for storytelling and embodying characters, my current priorities lie in dance and presentation. Juggling stage performances and hosting engagements demands considerable time, making it difficult to accommodate acting roles. Nevertheless, I take immense pride in my role as a presenter, finding solace in this identity.”

Aside from her artistic pursuits, Labonno also practices as an architect, spurred on by her husband's unwavering support for her involvement in cultural endeavours.

Recently, Labonno graced the stage as the host of a gala night organised by a prominent organization. Her schedule, once consumed by stage shows, now revolves around shooting diverse talk shows set to air on various channels during the forthcoming Eid festivities.

Labonno currently serves as the host of 'Rupkathar Raat' on NTV and leads BTV's dance show 'Tarana'. Her exceptional presentation skills have earned her accolades, including the prestigious Ajwa Golpowala award for Best Presenter.
