After several anticipated but delayed announcements, the much-awaited film 'Kajol Rekha', starring Mondera Chakroborty, is now officially slated for release this Eid. Providing reassurance to fans, Mondera, the leading actress of the film, expressed full confidence in its release this festive season.
Expressing her excitement over the movie, she urged moviegoers, saying, “There will be no further delays. ‘Kajol Rekha’ will hit the screens this Eid. Prepare yourselves to immerse in its tale with family and friends. With numerous releases lined up for Eid, I humbly request audiences to prioritise ‘Kajol Rekha’.”
“The director poured meticulous effort into crafting this film, inspired by a 400-year-old narrative. The audience has already embraced the film's music, and I anticipate the same for the unreleased tracks. Beyond my performance, I believe the entire cast has delivered commendable acting. Portraying the titular role demanded my utmost dedication, and I have invested my heart and soul into it. Under Giasuddin Selim Bhai's direction, I have strived to embody the character authentically. Though I can't gauge my portrayal entirely, I trust ‘Kajol Rekha’ will resonate with viewers. So, I urge everyone to enjoy it firsthand in theatres," added the actress.
Alongside Mondera, the film features Shariful Razz, Mithila, and Sadia Ayman, among others.
Recently, Mondera embarked on another project after wrapping up ‘Kajol Rekha’. Despite her commitment to the former project, she has now commenced work on 'Neel Chakra', directed by Mithu Khan, alongside Arifin Shuvo.
Mondera enthusiastically shared that the film boasts an exceptional storyline, further adding to her diverse repertoire.
