Anwesshaa has been regularly singing in almost all the major film industries of India, including Tollywood and Bollywood. She has had many hit songs as well. Though not regularly in Dhallywood, this melodious singer's voice often blends beautifully with great music videos on independent platforms in Dhaka. For example, her songs 'Beche Thakar Jonnye' with Belal Khan or 'Lage Buke Lage' with Imran Mahmudul have received praise and touched the hearts of audiences in both Bengals. Both songs are written by the National Film Award-winning lyricist Zulfiqer Russell.
After a brief break, Anwesshaa has returned with a new song, written by Zulfiqer Russell, as a gift for the Eid festival and Bangla New Year in Bangladesh. The new song is titled 'Ekoibhabe Din Ashe'. The music has been composed by Kolkata-based Tunai Debasish Ganguly.
Released on Tuesday under the banner of Juti Music, the song and music video are available on YouTube, Facebook, and other international audio-video streaming sites. The music video is receiving a good response not just for the song, but also for the story-based video itself.
The video, directed by Shantanu Bose, features models Feroz Shah and Sukarna Pal.
About the music video, lyricist Zulfiqer Russell said, “I have worked on several song projects with Anwesshaa before. They all received great acclaim. This time, at the insistence of music director Tunai da, I wrote a song for Anwesshaa. I hope the listeners and viewers will enjoy it as an Eid celebration and New Year's gift."
Anwesshaa expressed her satisfaction in rendering the song, saying, “The lyrics, tune, music, and video-everything is sweet. I hope the audiences of both Bengals will enjoy listening to and watching it."
Music composer Tunai Debasish Ganguly said, “Russell is one of my dearest friends. I am delighted to have composed the music for this song. Anwesshaa has sung it with immense love. There is no need to praise Russell's lyrics anew. I hope everyone in both Bengals will like the song."
