After crossing the boundaries of the country, the film 'Mona: Jinn 2' has now been released in theatres across Pakistan, as confirmed by its production company, Jaaz Multimedia.

According to the company, the movie will have 82 daily showings across 24 theatres in various provinces of Pakistan, including Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad.

Regarding this, producer Abdul Aziz of ‘Mona: Jinn 2’ said, “My co-producer partner for the film, MR Nine, is based in the United States. He facilitated the screenings in Pakistan. The movie has been playing there with English subtitles since April 26.”

He added, “I had sent the film to Pakistan before Eid for censorship. I have heard from those who sent it there that the members of Pakistan's censor board really liked ‘Mona: Jinn 2’. This makes me think the movie might be popular among Pakistani audiences as well.”

Not only that, but producer Abdul Aziz believes the budget for ‘Mona: Jinn 2’ could be recovered from the Pakistani theatres alone.

“Our film is already being released in Europe, the US, and the Middle East. Pakistan could also be a market for our movies. Because Bangladeshi cinema cannot progress without capturing the global market,” he said.

The film ‘Mona: Jinn 2’ has been directed by Kamruzzaman Roman. Suprabhat played the lead role, with Tariq Anam Khan, Ahmed Rubel, Dipa Khondokar, Ariana Jaman, Sehjad Omar, Sazzad Hossain, Samina Bashar, and others in supporting roles."
