Kumar Bishwajit, the pride of Bangladeshi music, has gifted us with countless original popular songs over the years. Just sitting and listening to his soulful voice would take a very long time yet it would never get old. From the very beginning of his professional singing career, Kumar Bishwajit has been immensely focused on creating original compositions. As a result, over more than four decades in the music industry, he has released innumerable popular original hits that have been loved by audiences.

Until his only son faced a serious road accident, Kumar Bishwajit was regularly releasing new original songs. He was also actively performing stage shows both at home and abroad. But now his life seems to have come to an uncertain standstill. He repeatedly asks everyone to pray for his son Nibir's recovery, as divine grace appears to be the only way out of this difficult situation.

On his birthday today, Kumar Bishwajit is abroad with his son. Speaking emotionally, he said, “Please pray for my Nibir, that he can return to his parents' lap - that is all I want.”

It is also the birthday of the versatile singer-actor Chanchal Chowdhury today. He has recently completed shooting for the movie 'Tufan' directed by Raihan Rafi and returned to Dhaka. He is now busy with upcoming Eid projects. Among them, he has finished shooting the seven-episode drama series 'Nayshoprahari' scripted by Brindaban Das and directed by Sakhawat Ahmed.

Chanchal shared that he has also completed a tele-film titled ‘Jhara Bakul’ by the same director. Within a few days, he will wrap up another seven-episode series and a single episode drama, all written by Brindaban Das and directed by Sakhawat Ahmed. Additionally, Chanchal will act in the single episode drama ‘Poka Diye Poka Dhora’ written by Masum Reza and directed by Salauddin Lavlu.

Regarding his birthday, Chanchal said, “To be honest, I never really plan what I'll be doing or where I'll be on my birthday. My wife Shanta and son Shuddho make little arrangements. A birthday simply means advancing one year closer towards the ultimate destination from this journey of life. I'm extremely satisfied with my work. I want to continue this routine of working relentlessly, as the stage and television have been the biggest contributors to my current success. So I will keep working in these mediums. However, I'm always interested in exploring other platforms as well. But I'm especially focused on TV plays during Eid.”
