This film on the Father of the Nation, the greatest Bengali of all times, was produced jointly by the governments of Bangladesh and India and directed by renowned Indian director Shyam Benegal.

It also captures his unforgettable role in the Bengali nationalist movement and, above all, his ultimate role in the birth of a nation.
