Singer Shrabony Shayantony is enjoying a wave of appreciation for her recent playback contribution to the film ‘Dead Body,’ directed by Md. Iqbal. The song ‘Janre,’ featuring Shrabony's vocals, has also been released on YouTube and is garnering significant attention.

The lyrics of ‘Janre’ were penned by Salahuddin Sagar, with music composed by F A Pritom. Shrabony is joined by co-artist Pritom Kumar in the song, which is lip-synced by Shamol Mawla and Misty Jahan in the film.

Shrabony expressed her excitement about the positive reception, saying, “I have always seen others receive such acclaim for film songs, but now experiencing it myself, I understand why film music is special. I'm receiving daily praise not just from close acquaintances but also from strangers who appreciate the lyrics, composition, and our singing. It's very encouraging, and I dream of doing more playback for great films in the future."

Following Eid, Shrabony participated in a stage show at Saat Darga Dwi-Mukhi High School in Pirgacha of Rangpur, captivating the audience with her performance at the school's semi-centennial celebration and reunion event.

Currently pursuing Indian Classical Music at Visva-Bharati University in India, Shrabony is home on vacation. She is staying at her family home in Rangpur and plans to return to Dhaka soon to work on new songs.

Some of Shrabony's notable original songs include ‘Tokei Shudhu Chai,’ ‘Tare Ami Bhalobashi,’ ‘Boishakh Elore,’ ‘Chandero Alo,’ ‘Bhul Thikana,’ ‘Bhalobashi Tomay,’ ‘Tore Dukkho Dile Mon Kande,’ ‘Tomake Chai,’ ‘Fuler Buke,’ ‘Sagorer Jol Paharer Sur,’ and ‘Alapon,’ among others.
