Popular actress Deepa Khandakar has returned to work after a relaxing family vacation in Vietnam. Known for her versatility in television dramas, Deepa has been equally active in cinema and on OTT platforms over the past year.

Upon her return from a 10-day trip, Deepa immediately completed dubbing for her upcoming film ‘Ritukamini’, directed by Zahid Hossain. In this movie, she plays the challenging character of Amena, which she describes as her most demanding role in cinema to date.

“Among all the films I've acted in so far, Amena is the most challenging character,” Deepa said after finishing the dubbing. “It's a completely different kind of role. While I've had many challenging roles in TV dramas, this is rare for me in cinema. I'm very optimistic about this film and believe the audience will be captivated by Amena.”

In addition to her film work, Deepa has recently shot commercials for mustard oil and Neutrala, directed by Munna and Rubaiyat Mahmud, respectively. These advertisements are set to air soon.

Deepa is currently featured in the web series ‘Rumi’, directed by Vicky Zahed, which is streaming on Hoichoi. She has also completed work on a drama titled ‘Hide and Seek’ for Deepto Play, directed by Mahmudur Rahman Hime.
