Chandrabindoo is one of the most discussed names in Bengali bands. This West Bengal band's songs are also hugely popular in Bangladesh. Good news for listeners is that after 12 long years, Anindya Chattopadhyay, Chandril Bhattacharya, and Upal are returning with their tenth album.

The members of Chandrabindoo will soon complete the recording of their tenth album. Apart from Anindya, Upal, and Chandril, the recording will also include the band's guitarist Surajit Mukhopadhyay, bass guitarist Arup Poddar, drummer Rajsekhar Kundu, keyboardist Shibabrata Biswas, and percussionist Saurav Chattopadhyay.

Regarding the release of a new album after nearly after 12 years, Upal said, “We've spent a lot of time since the release of our last album. We've made many songs in between, but we haven't managed to create an album after the ninth one. Our fans have been asking for a long time for us to bring out an album. Recently, Anindya, Chandril, and I thought it's time to record an album.”

Listeners and viewers will get access to the album this September. It's known that Chandrabindoo had started preparing for the tenth album about five years ago, but the work stalled midway. They are now ready to return with new enthusiasm.

Songs like ‘Bhindeshi Tara’ or ‘Bondhu Tomay E Gaan Shonabo Bikelbela’ are also very popular among Bangladeshi listeners. Chandrabindoo's first album ‘Aar Jani Na’ was released in 1997. However, Upal and others gained popularity with their second album ‘Gadha’. While their eighth album ‘U/A’ created a tremendous response, the ninth album didn't leave a mark on the listeners' minds. After 12 years, Anindya, Upal, and others are determined to erase that black mark.
