Renowned singer and popular television programme host Hassan Abidur Reja Jewel passed away in Dhaka on Tuesday (30 July), morning. He was 56.
Jewel, who had been battling cancer for many years, breathed his last around 11:53 am while undergoing treatment at United Hospital in the capital, said Lyricist Asif Iqbal.
His namaz-e-janaza will be held at Gulshan Azad mosque after Asar prayers.
