In a captivating fusion of talent and tradition, popular singers Iman Chakraborty and Shwapnil Shojib have joined forces to present a fresh rendition of Rabindranath Tagore's beloved composition, ‘Tumi Robe Nirobe’ (You Will Remain in Silence). This new arrangement, under the expert musical direction of Nilanjan Ghosh, promises to offer listeners a unique and emotive experience of the classic Rabindra Sangeet.
Nilanjan Ghosh mentions that his musical arrangement has transformed the song into an emotional symphony, where the sweet voices of Iman and Shwapnil blend with Rabindranath's profound poetry.
Speaking about the song, Iman Chakraborty said, “Rabindranath Tagore is the cornerstone of my musical life. His lyrics give me strength, inspiration, and continuity. ‘Tumi Robe Nirobe’ is even more special to me because it's a reunion with my dear friend and respected Bangladeshi singer Shwapnil Shojib. Our previous song ‘Tumi Kon Kanoner Phool’ was hugely popular, and now we're coming back to enchant our listeners on Tagore's death anniversary."
Shwapnil Shojib said, “In Bengal, Rabindranath Tagore is an inseparable part of our lives. Every year, we pay homage to him on his birth and death anniversaries. This year, I'm coming to pay tribute to him with my dear friend and inspiration, Iman Chakraborty. We've been planning various projects for a long time, and finally, our dream has come true. I believe this song of ours will touch the hearts of listeners worldwide. Thanks to Nilanjan Ghosh for his beautiful music, and I extend my love and best wishes to Iman Chakraborty Productions and JMR Music Studio.”
The song ‘Tumi Robe Nirobe’ in the new musical arrangement is set for release on August 6.
