Luipa has returned to song recording after a hiatus. She recently lent her voice to a drama song composed by Sajib Das, a young singer, composer, and music director of this generation. The song, titled 'Parthonay Tumi', is for the drama 'Bhalobasar Manush', directed by Rafat Majumdar Rinku. Robiul Islam Jibon penned the lyrics, while Yash Rohan and Tatini star in the drama.
Sajib Das not only composed the music for 'Parthonay Tumi' but also sang alongside Luipa. He expressed his excitement about the collaboration, saying, “Luipa is a very sweet-voiced singer of this generation. I've always wanted her to sing at least one of my compositions. Finally, that opportunity came. She sang my tune, and I also became her singing partner. The lyrics are beautiful, and I tried to compose a melody to my liking. I hope the listeners and viewers will enjoy it.”
Luipa shared her thoughts on the project, “Somehow, people named Sajib become dear to me. Sajib Das is a very dear singer, composer, and music director to me. This is the first time I've sung a song composed by Sajib. The lyricist, Robiul Islam Jibon, also wrote for my first solo album 'Chayabaji'. The lyrics of this song are truly beautiful. I hope the listeners will appreciate it.”
Director Rafat Majumdar Rinku announced that the drama 'Bhalobasar Manush' will air soon. It's worth noting that Luipa's first playback or film song was 'Dhire Dhire', also written by Robiul Islam Jibon. She lent her voice to this song, composed by Emon Chowdhury, for the film 'Poran'. Directed by Raihan Rafi, the film stars Bidya Sinha Mim, Raj, and Yash.
Sajib Das has previously worked with other notable artists, including Kona, Imran, and Konal, who have sung songs composed by him.
