Mou Khan, a newcomer to the Bangladeshi film industry, has already made a mark with her works. With dreams of establishing herself in the industry and inspired by her family—particularly her mother—she has fully immersed herself in this world.
She has previously acted in two films, ‘Protishodher Agun’, directed by Mohammad Aslam, and ‘Jeemon Jamai Temon Bou’, directed by Montajur Rahman Akbar. Today, her third film, ‘Amanush Holo Manush’, is being released. Directed again by Montajur Rahman Akbar, the actress plays the role of Alo in this film.
The film will be screened in over 20 cinemas across Bangladesh, including Dhaka. However, due to the current situation in the country, where many areas are affected by floods, she has decided not to attend the cinema today, as it seems inappropriate under the circumstances.
Recently, she appeared in a handwash commercial with actor Riaz, directed by Nazmul Diganta. The film ‘Mafia’, directed by Shahin Sumon and featuring Mou, is available on an OTT platform.
Meanwhile, she has nearly completed filming ‘Tobou Prem Dami’, directed by Mohammad Aslam, with Desh Islam as her co-star. Mou has also revealed that two of her films, ‘Bandhob’, directed by Sujon Bardhan, and ‘Bahadur’, directed by Shafik Hasan, have been censored and may be released soon.
Mou Khan has completed her MBA at Northern University. Her favourite actor is Salman Shah, and her favourite actress is Shabnur.
Mou said, “When I decided to act in films, not everyone in my family agreed. But it was my mother's encouragement that led me to work in films. I love this industry very much and want to stay in it for the rest of my life. Today, my third film is being released. I would specially request the audience, if they have the opportunity, to please go to the cinema and watch the film.”
