Deepa Khandakar stars in BTV weekly drama

Popular actress Deepa Khandakar has recently completed filming for a single-episode weekly drama titled ‘Ghor’(Home) for Bangladesh Television (BTV). The drama, written by Nasreen Mustafa, features Deepa opposite National Film Award-winning actor Shatabdi Wadud.

Deepa expressed her enthusiasm for the project, saying, “The story revolves around a child. It's a drama with a life-intimate story. The playwright has crafted a wonderful narrative, which made working on it extremely enjoyable. I hope the audience will appreciate it.”

In addition to her BTV project, Deepa is set to begin work on a web series directed by Zahid Pritom on September 16. She recently completed dubbing for the film ‘Ritukamini,’ directed by Zahid Hossain, where she plays a unique character named Amena.

Deepa can currently be seen in the web series ‘Rumi,’ directed by Vicky Zahed, streaming on HoiChoi. She has also finished filming ‘Hide and Seek,’ a drama directed by Mahmudur Rahman Himi for Deepto Play.

The actress has been busy with various projects, including appearances in the ‘Chotokaku’ series and the ghost story ‘Pichone Takaben Na’ last the recent Eid-ul-Azha. Her most recent film appearance was in ‘Darkworld,’ directed by Mostafizur Rahman Manik.

Deepa Khandakar's upcoming films include ‘Monolok’ by Shahid Raihan, while her recently released movies include ‘Bhaijan Elo Re,’ ‘Payer Chhap,’ ‘Oporajeo,’ and ‘Jinn 2.’

The drama ‘Ghor’ is expected to air on BTV soon.
