Sabrina Ehsan Porshi, who first rose to fame through Channel i's reality talent hunt show "Khude Gaanraj," has completed an impressive 16-year journey in the music industry. Busy with stage shows and regularly releasing new songs, the singer-songwriter has reportedly taken a big step in her personal life as well she tied the knot with Niloy Alam, who currently resides in the United States, in March 4, 2024.
Close family sources have confirmed the news of Porshi and Niloy's wedding. It has been revealed that the two were in a relationship for some time before getting married. Both Porshi and Niloy were contestants on the same season of "Khude Gaanraj" back in 2008.
In 2010, Niloy and his family relocated to New York, USA. Last year, his family returned to Bangladesh for a few months, and during that time, discussions about the wedding took place between the families. Soon after, the wedding was quietly held with close family members present.
Both families, however, are keen on keeping the news under wraps for now. A close family member mentioned that they are not ready to make the announcement public. The families have also refrained from disclosing the exact date and details of the wedding. When reached for comment, Porshi's mother said, "We don't want to discuss this matter right now."
Despite this personal milestone, Porshi remains deeply engaged with her career. She continues to release songs through her YouTube channel. Her duet song with Imran, "Kotha Ektai", was a hit last year, garnering much attention. In addition to her music, Porshi recently announced her entry into drama production, with plans to produce her first drama for the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr, which is set to be aired soon.
