Actor Md Kamruzzaman Millat received Television Reporters Association of Bangladesh (TRAB) Awards 2025 in Theatre category on February 8 at the Hotel Pan Pacific Sonargaon in the capital. Chief coordinator of Theatre Art Unit, Md Kamruzzaman Millat received the Best Actor Award while Shomoy Natyadal's member Zerin Kashfi Ruma won the Best Actress Award in the same category.
The ceremony also handed over the Lifetime Achievement Awards to actor Ashraf Uddin Ahmed Ujjal, Misha Sawdagar and actress Anwara Begum in the film.
More than three decades, Md Kamruzzaman Millat was actively involved in theatre practice and performed more than 500 shows for his troupe. His performance on Lakshmi Pala, Court Martial, Golapjan, Amina Sundori, Swapna Dekho Manush, Chhaya Chakra and others for the troupe.
'I have been working for 35 years in theatre. This achievement is also a reward for the theatre arena and I hope it will inspire me more,' said Kamruzzaman.
Earlier, he received many prestigious awards including the SA TV Best Actor Award, Koler Gaan Multimedia Best Actor Award, Dhallywood Film and Music Best Actor Award from New York.
