Filmfare is back, and they have launched the first edition of the Filmfare Glamour & Style Awards in the heart of Kolkata.The Filmfare Glamour & Style Awards West Bengal 2025 took place yesterday at JW Marriott, where the evening shimmered with some of the most stylish stars from Bengali cinema. With their impeccable fashion choices, several beloved celebrities graced the red carpet and took home prestigious awards.
Among the evening's highlights was the ever-stylish Jaya Ahsan, who continues to enamour fans with her exceptional fashion sense. She was honored with the Traditional Queen of the Year award at the Joy Filmfare Glamour & Style Awards West Bengal.
Sharing the exciting news on Facebook, Jaya wrote, "Thank you to the entire team of Filmfare for this recognition. Filmfare has always made me feel special—this is another beautiful addition to my long journey."
For the grand occasion, the actress dazzled in an olive-colored shiny silk high-slit gown, exclusively designed for her by Bangladesh's renowned designer Sanaya Chowdhury. With her hair elegantly pulled back and minimal jewelry, Jaya's striking glamour was simply impossible to ignore.
Meanwhile, the eighth edition of the Joy Filmfare Awards Bangla is set to take place today at the luxurious JW Marriott Hotel in Kolkata. Jaya Ahsan has been nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role (Female) for her performance in "Bhootpori". While Mosharraf Karim for (Hubba) and Chanchal Chowdhury for (Padatik) have earned nominations for Best Actor (Critics).
