Audience-admired actress Moutushi Biswas considers herself very lucky to have been born on March 26, the Independence Day of Bangladesh.

Sunday (26 March) is the birthday of model-anchor-actress Moutushi. Speaking about her birthday on Independence Day, she said, “To be honest, what a coincidence that my birthday coincides with the Independence Day of our country. It’s a big matter to me as my birthday is on March 26; it makes me feel I am very lucky to have been born on this day.”

The actress has no special plans for her birthday today. She will spend the occasion with her family members at home. “Today is a holiday, that’s why everyone stays at home. I think I will spend a busy day. I seek blessings from everyone, so that I can remain healthy and well. And, I look forward to delivering wonderful projects based on amazing plots in the future,” Moutushi said.

Moutushi last acted in the drama serial 'Agunpakhi'. Meanwhile, she received a few offers to work in films. But she didn’t take any of the projects as the actress is very choosy about working in any big-screen venture.

Sharing her seriousness about working in films, Moutushi said, “As long as I myself will not be convinced with any film, I will not sign up for any.”

In the meantime, Moutushi has also acted in a play titled 'Tin Kanya' and is involved in the theatre organization Battala. The play is scripted by Samina Lutfa Nitra and directed by Mohammad Ali Haider.

Moutushi is interested in working on the OTT platform, but the story and characters have to match her preferences.

Last year, she acted in the web series titled ‘Spotlight’, one of the three stories of the Bioscope original anthology series ‘Bou Diaries’, where she played the role of the protagonist.

Beginning her career on Ekushey TV (ETV) with a show titled ‘Adventure Bangladesh’ back in 2000, Moutushi Biswas first caught the attention of the audience for her acting in the drama serial ‘Ekannoborti’ in 2004. In the later years, she continued to garner appreciation for her performance in tele-dramas, drama serials, and films. She again caught viewers' attention with Mostofa Sarwar Farooki’s directorial debut film ‘Bachelor’.
