Fans of the National Film Award-winning actress, Dilara Hanif Purnima, are eagerly anticipating the release of her three new films: 'Ahare Jibon', directed by Chhatku Ahmed, and 'Gangchil' and 'Jam', directed by Naeem Imtiaz Neyamul.
Purnima starred alongside popular actor Ferdous Ahmed in both 'Ahare Jibon' and 'Gangchil', while Arefin Shuvo acted opposite the actress in 'Jam'.
Purnima's last release was 'Chironjeeb Mujib', directed by Nazrul Islam, in which she played the role of Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib. The film was only released in Bogra last year, and since then, no new Purnima films have been released, which is why her fans are eagerly awaiting her upcoming projects.
Meanwhile, Purnima has completed the work of Chatku Ahmed's 'Ahare Jiban'. Purnima shared her thoughts on the project, saying, "This is the first time I have worked under the direction of Chatku Ahmed. The story of ‘Ahare Jibon’ is based on the period of Covid-19. Chatku Ahmed is a talented director of the country's film industry who himself expressed interest in working with me. Overall, the film seems to be wonderful, and its success depends on the audience after its release. I'm also looking forward to the release of ‘Gangchil’ and ‘Jam’, for which some minor tasks still need to be completed. My fans are also eagerly awaiting the release of these two films."
Aside from her films, Purnima will also appear in a web series titled ‘Hotel Relax’ during the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.
