Chirkutt, the popular Bangla fusion band, has announced the release of their fourth album following a six-year break. The news was shared via their official Facebook page, where they stated that they have started working on the album, which will include 10 original songs.
Sharmin Sultana Sumi, the band's vocalist, mentioned that some of the lyrics or compositions may come from musicians outside of the group.
Chirkutt's first album, "Chirkuttnama," was released in 2010, followed by their instant hit, "Jadur Shohor," in 2013. Their third album, "Udhao," was released in 2017.
In February, the band celebrated their 20th anniversary with a grand concert at TSC.
Fans are eagerly anticipating the release of their fourth album, and it is sure to be another great addition to their discography.
Formed in 2002, Chirkutt is a popular Bangladeshi rock band from Dhaka. The band line-up consists of vocalist Sharmin Sultana Sumi, guitarist Emon Chowdhury, keyboards player Jahid Nirob and drummer Pavel Areen.
