John Abraham who created waves with his stellar performance opposite Shah Rukh Khan in 'Pathaan', is reportedly considered to be returning to the YRF's Dhoom franchise.
According to reports, the star who melted our hearts with his rough and tough looks in his character of a sharp criminal, Kabir, in Dhoom, is believed to be returning to the role again in 'Dhoom 4'.
The report further stated that in the past couple of days, there have been daily meetings at YRF and John has been seen attending these meetings on multiple occasions. If anything is finalized, it will be at one of these meets.
However, there have been no announcements about the famed franchise as of now, but the reports of John's comeback in YRF's Dhoom 4 have already created a buzz on social media.
Earlier, the reports had also claimed that Akshay Kumar has been finalised to play the lead role in the fourth instalment of 'Dhoom'.
Following to this, YRF issued a statement and cleared all doubts. The statement reads, "The article 'Dhoom' to get Khiladi’s touch? printed in today’s Mid-day is incorrect and baseless. Dhoom is an extremely important franchise for us but currently, we do not have an idea or script for 'Dhoom 4'. We are always available to clarify any queries and strongly urge and request you to kindly double-check stories with us well in advance for us to be able to provide you with all accurate facts."
