Abdun Noor Shajal, a well-known, prominent, and popular actor on the small screen, has proven himself on the big screen as well. A movie of his titled 'Jinn' directed by Nader Chowdhury was released on Eid-ul-Fitr. In an exclusive interview with Mahamudul Islam (Sondhan) of ‘The Daily Messenger’, he shared insights about his work and life. Here are some excerpts from the interview:
The Daily Messenger (TDM): Tell us about the movie 'Jinn' which was released on Eid-ul-Fitr
Sajal: 'Jinn' is a psycho-thriller movie. The film has been received well by the audience. That's why even after the fifth week of release; the movie is still getting a very good response from the audience. The movie is scheduled to be released in 10 more cinema halls across the country this week.
TDM: How was the experience of shooting with Pooja?
Sajal: In one word, great. Pooja is a talented actress. We used to light hearted moments together at the set of movie.
TDM: What are you busy with at the moment?
Sajal: I am still busy promoting the movie 'Jinn' and there are two more movies of mine to be released soon. The name of the movies are Hridi Haq’s ‘1971 Shei Shob Din’ and Zahid Hossain's 'Subarnabhumi'. Besides, I am acting in a new web series. However, I am not allowed to share about the details pertaining to the web series.
TDM: Will you be continuing in small screen or move towards big screen?
Sajal: I like both the world. Small screen is my place of love. But right now I'm busy with movies.
