National film award-winning singer Fatima Tuz Zahra alias Oyshee got engaged to Arefin Zilani Sakib at the beginning of last April. After more than a month of break in between, the singer finally tied the knot with her beloved Sakib.
Oyshee and Sakib got married in the evening on Friday (June 2) at a convention hall in the capital's Gulshan. Apart from their family members, many showbiz stars were present there.
Earlier on Wednesday (May 31), Oyshee's pre-marriage gaye holud ceremony was held. In a different family atmosphere, she danced with a group of musicians.
The pre-marriage ceremony started with a letter from Oyshee's recently deceased father. Oyshee burst into tears after listening to that letter. But it was not too late for the shining sun to break through the clouds. Parvez appeared on the stage in line with Luipa's funny presentation. Anika, Luipa, Turjo, Nabila, Sajal, Pooja, Nadia Dora, Niloy and others came on the stage with all the interesting performances one by one. Oyshee's fellow musicians at one stage turned out to be dancers following some funny songs.
Incidentally, after two and a half years of acquaintance and friendship, Oyshee and Sakib exchanged rings on April 2. Apart from being a musician, Oyshee is also a doctor. On the other hand, Sakib has joined a pharmaceutical company after completing his studies. He is also involved in acting and modeling.
