Rasel Ahmed has been working successfully as a dancer since 2000. Apart from being a dancer, he is also doing choreography. Recently, he won an award for 'Best Dance Choreography' at the Ananda Mela in Los Angeles. Mondira Chakraborty and Rasel Ahmed performed together in Los Angeles. Their performance was mesmerizing. Everyone appreciated their performance at the event.
He started his dance journey with renowned dance teachers of Bangladesh called Shamim Ara Nipa and Shibli Mohammad. He paired with the talented dancers of Bangladesh in numerous public and private television dance shows. Moreover, Rasel Ahmed was the dance teacher at Bangladesh Navy School and College.
After receiving the award, Rasel Ahmed said, I was the group champion as a dancer on BTV earlier. I choreographed the finale of Channel i Shera Nachiye: season 2. The award is always a great recognition and a great feeling. I am awarded for the first time beyond the country. I thank the Ananda Mela organizer for this.
Basically, Rasel Ahmed has presented folk dance in many other countries including Japan, Mexico, Poland, France, Egypt, Malaysia, Thailand, Qatar, Kuwait, Nepal, and India. The only secret behind his every success was constant endeavor and hard work.
