Singer Rozina Akter's new song about police is going to be released on her own YouTube channel, 'Surer Alo BD,' on Saturday (June 24).

The title of the song is 'Policer Bou'. Sources confirmed that the shooting of the music video has already been completed.

The song is written by Topon Bagchi, composed by Rozina herself, and orchestrated by Shamim Mahmood.

Asked about the song, Rozina Akter said, "This is the first time someone has sung about the police force like I did. Although many have sung songs about the police force at various events, no song about the police force could reach the different levels of audience, but I believe that my song will definitely be heard by all classes of people."

The singer further said, "It was a lot of trouble making this song. Written permission had to be obtained from the police. Many singers in the past have sung about the police force, but everyone did so without asking permission. I am the first person to compose a song about them by asking their permission."

"I am very thankful to Deputy Inspector General of Police (Police Directorate, Dhaka) Mohammad Abdullahel Baki for this," added the singer.

Rozina Akter is a registered singer of Bangladesh Radio, BTV, and the National Academy of Arts, and since the beginning of her career, she has created a remarkable position among the audience by singing thematic songs.
She sang several songs about Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the Football World Cup, garment workers, old age homes, and hapless mothers.
