Urmila moving forward in acting, politics simultaneously

‘Lux Channel i Superstar’-famed model-actress Urmila Srabanti Kar is making strides in both acting and politics simultaneously. The model-actress has been appointed as the cultural affairs secretary of Bangladesh Mohila Awami League. This appointment has been approved by Obaidul Quader, the General Secretary of Awami League.

Urmila Srabanti Kar has already established herself as a popular actress, showcasing her acting skills on the small screen. Throughout her decade-long career, she has received high praise from audiences for her performances in numerous tele-dramas. Urmila has also made a successful transition to the big screen.

Today happens to be Urmila Srabanti Kar's birthday. After spending a few days abroad for personal reasons, she is scheduled to return home this morning. On her birthday, she desires to spend quality time with her family members and well-wishers.

Regarding her birthday and her new role in politics, Urmila Srabanti Kar expressed, "I seek everyone's blessings to fulfill the responsibilities entrusted to me. I am truly grateful to the party for nominating me as the cultural affairs secretary of Bangladesh Mohila Awami League."

"During the past few days, I have been abroad due to personal reasons. Today is my birthday, and I intend to celebrate it with my mother, family members, and well-wishers. I request everyone's prayers for the realisation of my dreams."

In the meantime, Urmila has completed shooting for her new tele-drama titled 'Niyoti,' directed by Md. Robiul Shikdar. She is also appearing in the drama serial 'Cheater & Gentleman,' directed by Sanjit Sarkar, on RTV.

She appeared in the tele-drama 'Eker Jamai,' opposite actor Mir Sabbir during last Eid-ul-Azha.
