Popular actor Afran Nisho, who is currently making headlines for his debut film 'Surongo,' will be seen in the new web series titled 'Sharey Showlo' on Hoichoi. He will be playing the role of Reza with a new look in this web series directed by Yasir Al Haq.
The story of the web series revolves around a lawyer, Raza, whose life takes a critical turn the night before he goes to trial for the most important case of his career.
Nisho will be seen playing the role of the lawyer handling a high-profile case on behalf of a reputed real estate company.
Nisho, who hopes the events in the lawyer's life will make the audience think, said about his character, "Reza is a very intelligent and successful lawyer but a family man. It's the character that has attracted me a lot to do the project, and I'm eagerly waiting to see the audience's reaction after watching me as Reza."
"Yasir is a very young, talented, and promising director. Being efficient and dedicated to work, he is starting his career with great potential. In fact, the experience of working with the entire 'Sharey Showlo' team has been great, and I wish them all the best for this endeavor."
Director Yasir Al Haq said, "This is my first web series, and I am very happy to work with Hoichoi for my OTT debut. Actually, no words can express my excitement properly. The 'Sharey Showlo' series was completely out of my comfort zone, and that's why I decided to take my OTT journey with this challenging series. I thank Hoichoi for believing in me. I believe the series will take us to new heights. The audience will also witness Afran Nisho in a great role."
The new web series will be available exclusively on Hoichoi from August 17.
Meanwhile, Nisho's first movie titled 'Surongo,' directed by Raihan Rafi, was released during Eid ul-Azha and is currently being screened in cinemas across the country.
