The highly anticipated children's film titled 'Mike', starring popular actors Ferdous and Sweety, is set to hit theatres on August 11, as confirmed by sources from the Bangladesh Film Producers and Distributors Association.

The movie's cast officially kicked off their promotional campaign at Udayan Higher Secondary School in the capital, where Ferdous Ahmed, Tanveen Sweety, Tariq Anam Khan, and many others were present.

Inspired by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's historic March 7 speech, the government-granted film is a collaborative effort led by FM Shaheen and Hasan Zafarul Vipul.

Ferdous Ahmed, sharing his thoughts on the campaign, said, "The movie 'Mike' is based on Bangabandhu's historic March 7 speech, which ignited the spirit of the nation and led to the birth of an independent Bangladesh. Today, we enjoy the freedom to express ourselves in this independent country."

Actress Tanveen Sweety, urging everyone to watch the movie, said, "In the post-75 era, we were unaware of the significance of the March 7 speech and how our country gained independence. Everything changed after the tragic assassination of our nation's father on August 15, 1975.”

“Many aspects of our history were suppressed. Who built this nation? In response to Bangabandhu's call on March 7, millions of people fought for our independence. If we don't know our history, how will the next generation? I encourage everyone to watch this movie in theatres. It is essential for us all to be aware of the history of our independent country."

The movie has already generated excitement with the release of its poster, trailer, teaser, and song.
