Popular actress Shobnom Bubly has commenced shooting for her new movie titled ‘Tumi Jekhane Ami Sekhane,’ directed by Debashish Biswas. 70pc of the movie's first lot shooting was completed on Tuesday.
In response to a question about why he chose Bubly among the numerous heroines of Dhallywood for the role of Bijli, Debashish Biswas said, “I believe Bubly is the most suitable heroine to portray the role of Bijli. This is my first project with Bubly, and I have found her to be a focused and dedicated artiste who values punctuality. In one word, I am thoroughly impressed with her performance; she is doing an exceptional job.”
“Her careful rehearsal, post-shot performance analysis, full cooperation with the shooting unit, sincerity, and humility as an artiste have left me overwhelmed. I am highly optimistic about her role in this movie,” added Debashish.
Shobnom Bubly said, “I have watched several movies directed by Dilip Biswas sir (Debashish Biswas's father). Moreover, I have known Debashish Biswas since my childhood as my sibling named Mimi used to lend her voice for playback. However, I must say that working with him has been an amazing experience, and I felt very comfortable throughout the making of this movie. Debashish Biswas has undeniably carved a niche for himself in the film industry. I sincerely appreciate his dedication to his work.”
Prior to this, Debashish's notable movies include ‘Shoshurbari Zindabad,’ ‘Shuvo Bibaho,’ ‘Volobasha Zindabad,’ ‘Chol Palai,’ and ‘Shoshurbari Zindabad 2.'
Debashish confirmed that shooting for the movie’s second instalment will conclude in October. The production company intends to release the movie on the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
It's worth noting that the movie titled ‘Prohelika,’ starring Bubly and Mahfuz and directed by Chayanika Chowdhury, was released last Eid-ul-Azha.
