Acclaimed Bangladeshi actress Rafiath Rashid Mithila, fresh from her success in ‘Maya,’ is set to grace the silver screen once again in the upcoming Tollywood film titled 'Aranyer Prachin Probad.'
Actor-singer Shilajit Majumdar will be seen alongside Mithila in this West Bengal production directed by Dulal Dey. This movie also features talented actors such as Suhotra Mukhopadhyay, Loknath Dey, and Buddhadeb Bhattacharya, among others.
Mithila takes on the role of a nurse in the movie, a character that the director, Dulal Dey, believed could only be portrayed by her. So, he didn't approach any other actress for the role.
Director Dulal Dey revealed that he had discussed this character with Mithila about a year and a half ago, convinced that she was the perfect fit.
Director Dulal Dey said, “The film's storyline centers around the adventures of detective Aranya Chatterjee, who, in addition to his investigative skills, is also a skilled cricketer and a medical student. With its unique theme, the movie is expected to captivate and entertain audiences.”
‘Aranyer Prachin Probadh’ will be filmed in picturesque locations in India, including Baruipur, Bantala, and Krishnanagar, adding to the allure of this exciting cinematic venture.
