National Film Award-winning veteran actress Dilara Zaman and actress Farzana Chobi will share the screen together for the first time in a movie titled 'Bhor,' directed by Aminur Rahman Khan. Although they have previously shared the stage in numerous tele-dramas, this marks their inaugural collaboration in a feature film.
Filming for this government-funded movie commenced in Gaibandha on Friday. Farzana takes on the role of Krishna’s mother, Nolini Devi, while Dilara Zaman portrays Farzana’s mother-in-law. While this is Chobi's second government-funded film, Dilara Zaman has acted in several such projects.
Dilara Zaman said, “I was truly captivated by the story of 'Bhor,' as well as my character. We have just begun our work, and it is progressing smoothly. Chobi is a young woman from my hometown, and she is exceptionally talented. I am affectionately addressed as ‘mother’ by her, and their love fills my heart. May she enjoy a long and prosperous life.”
Chobi expressed her feelings about working with Dilara Zaman, “Dilara Zaman is a living legend in the world of acting. I lack the words to adequately praise her performance. I watch and learn from her every moment. My admiration for her extends beyond her acting; I am also an admirer of her personal life. Her ideas, intellect, empathy, and humanity—these are qualities I aspire to emulate.”
“I believe that a person’s inner beauty radiates outward, and this truth applies 100% to Dilara Zaman. She finds contentment in simplicity, a trait that stands out in a world filled with restlessness. Having the opportunity to work with such a legend is an incredible blessing,” she further added.
