Superstar Shakib Khan is set to star in director Raihan Rafi’s upcoming movie titled ‘Premik,’ produced by Chorki and Alpha-i. The film is scheduled for release during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha festival.
Sources reveal that there have been three rounds of meetings at Shakib Khan’s Gulshan office regarding this project. Key figures including Redoan Rony, popular director and Chief Operating Officer of Chorki, and Shahriar Shakil, Alpha-i Studios Managing Director, were present at these discussions. While the details have been ironed out, the official announcement is pending.
Director Raihan Rafi expressed his excitement about collaborating with Shakib Khan, saying, “Shakib Khan is the most popular hero in the country. I have always wanted to work with him. When we team up, something exceptional is bound to happen.”
Raihan Rafi remained tight-lipped about the project’s specifics, saying, “Let's wait; I will reveal all the details at the right time.”
Notably, during the last Eid-ul-Azha, two films, ‘Priyotma’ starring Shakib Khan and ‘Surongo' directed by Raihan Rafi, were released, creating a significant impact on Bengali cinema. The collaboration of these two talents in a single film is sure to generate considerable excitement among moviegoers.
