Shake Tanvir got international award as an ‘Ingenious Actor’ in USA

Shake Tanvir Ahmed, the celebrity actor of the country's theatre arena, has won the 'George K Campbell Award-2023'. He received that international recognition as an ‘Ingenious Actor’ in the arts and culture category of George K. Campbell Scholarship program for contributing to the world stage for more than 15 years.

Like every year, ‘'Give Me A Second Chance '' is the regular event of the 'Annual George K. Campbell Scholarship Friends for Life Committee' was held in the ballroom of the Glen Terrace Caterers in Brooklyn, New York, USA on Saturday (14 October) afternoon. And in the presence of the invited guests, representatives of New York local government, community leaders and the media, Ms. Jennifer Viechweg Horsford the representative of New York State Senator Roxanne J. Persaud, Friends For Life Committee officials of George K. Campbell Scholarship Ms Yhane Williams and Yma Orne Campbell handed over the prestigious award to Shake Tanvir  Ahmed with honorary Citation from the New York State Senate office, New York Assembly office and New York City Council office. Before that, Tanv Shake got an overwhelming appreciation after performing the Blackflame Theatre production Skates Mime ‘The Blind Perspective’ in this event.

Shake Tanvir  Ahmed, Founder and Chief Secretary of Blackflame Theatre said, "Any recognition is glad to get, but receiving this award as an actor from this Catholic scholarship organization which has been running for almost two decades besides the honorary citations from the highest authority of local government is very honourable. They give this award every year at the international level in the categories of Advocacy, Diplomacy, Excellence and Art and Culture, including giving scholarships to students in cooperation with the local government and community people through this event, and this is a very attractive award for any actor”.

Moreover Shake Tanvir Ahmed, the highest remuneration actor in the theatre industry currently living in the United States for studies, has also received the Japan Bangla Peace Award, Shilpangan Award, Dr. Walker Uddin Award, Hiroshima Day Award, Swapnadal Award, Mime Art Award, Chaplin Mime Festival Award, Victory Day Mime Festival Award, Duma International Mime Festival Award and Jolchobi Mime Theater Award and participated in various national and international arenas. In addition to studying business analytics at the famous Trine University in the United States, Shake Tanvir Ahmed the young actor has recently performed at Times Square in New York as the first mime actor of the country and spreading light on the stage by participating in various local events.
