After serving as a goodwill ambassador for Lux for seven consecutive years, popular actress Bidya Sinha Mim has once again signed a contract to continue the same role with the same company. Meanwhile, she has rekindled her journey as the goodwill ambassador of Lux.
Mim said, “I began my journey in the media with Lux. I started my career by winning the ‘Lux-Channel i Superstar’ beauty pageant. So, I have been professionally and emotionally connected to Lux from the very beginning. I do not share this emotional bond with any other brand. It's natural. I am sincerely thankful to the Lux family for granting me the opportunity to serve as their goodwill ambassador once again. Thanks to the Lux family.”
Mim is currently busy with Durga Puja. Accompanied by her husband, she is visiting various puja mandaps in Dhaka to enjoy the festivity of the event. Mim's most recent film was 'Antarjal,' directed by Dipankar Dipon, in which she delivered an immaculate performance.
In 2007, after winning the 'Lux Channel I Superstar' title, Mim gained recognition for her acting in the film 'Amar Ache Jal,' directed by the late legendary writer and filmmaker Humayun Ahmed.
The model-actress earned her first National Film Award in the category of Best Actress for her role in the film 'Jonakir Alo,' directed by Khalid Mahmood Mithu. After winning the Lux Superstar title, Mim primarily focused on acting in tele-dramas, but she later delved into the world of cinema, putting her tele-drama acting on hold.
Besides, she occasionally works for OTT platforms. Mim's latest acclaimed film is 'Poran,' directed by Raihan Rafi, which made headlines last year for her exceptional performance. Following that, her film 'Damal' was released.
