National Film Award-winning actress Zakia Bari Mamo has teamed up with popular small-screen actors Irfran Sajjad and Obid Rehan in a tele-drama titled ‘Ghran,’ directed by Rashedul Islam Rashed and written by Sarwar Onik.

Mamo played the character Nila, while Obid portrayed her husband. Additionally, Ifran Sajjad takes on the role of her ex-boyfriend.

The shooting of the tele-drama has already been completed in various locations in Uttara, the capital. However, the channel on which the tele-drama will be aired has not yet been decided.

Speaking about her role in the tele-drama, Mamo said, “Scent often plays an important role in people's lives. This is the main theme of this tele-drama. This is my first work under the direction of Rashed. Director Rashed and his entire team have tried their best to complete the work. Obid Rehan and Irfan Sajjad are both experienced actors, and I really enjoyed working with them.”

Obid Rehan said, “I have worked on this type of story before, but Rashed tried to present the story in a different way. All of us who acted tried to do the job well from our own positions, and I am optimistic about the work.”

Irfan Sajjad said, “I had the opportunity to showcase my acting skills in the role I played in this tele-drama. Obid Rehan, Zakia Bari Mamo, and the others who acted in it all did well. I also tried to enhance the project by collaborating with them. All in all, the work has been done very well, and I hope the audience likes it.”

After ‘Ghran,’ Mamo will be busy with a project for an OTT platform. She mentioned that she will be working on another tele-drama with a good storyline in the first week of the next month, which will be directed by Saima. Mamo's most recently released movie was 'Ora 7 Jon,' directed by Khijir Hayat Khan.

In the meantime, Obid Rehan is acting in serial dramas as well as single dramas, and Irfan Sajjad recently completed a tele-drama titled 'Sobar Biye,' directed by Rubel Hasan.
