Commencing her media career with the reality TV dance show ‘Nacho Bangladesh Nacho,’ Mim Chowdhury has been dedicated to dance, acting, and presenting for over a decade.

Originally a dancer, she now primarily focuses on acting and hosting. One of her current standout projects is the music programme ‘Music Night,’ which airs every Thursday to Saturday at 10:30pm on Global TV. Mim has been hosting this show for a year.

Mim's journey as an anchor began with an Eid event featuring musical performances by popular singers like Luipa, Liza, Kornia, and Jhilik.

She is also actively engaged in acting and plays a significant role in the serial drama ‘Char Chakkar,’ directed by Nazrul Islam Raju, currently airing on Maasranga TV. Furthermore, Mim will soon appear in Ejaz Munna's new serial drama ‘Parallel,’ scheduled to air on Channel i.

Khairul Wasi and Mukta Sarkar will be performing music on her show on Global TV at 10:30pm tonight.

Recently, Mim’s performances in two tele-dramas alongside Mosharraf Karim have garnered significant attention. One is ‘Haramkhor,’ directed by Imran Howladar, and the other is ‘Panic Husband,’ directed by S.R Mozumdar.

Mim has acted in three movies to date, namely ‘Bhalobasa Express,’ directed by Safi Uddin Safi, ‘Sutopar Thikana,’ directed by Proshoon Rahman, and Nasim Sahnik's ‘Goyenda Giri.’ However, Mim refrains from calling ‘Goyenda Giri’ a film, as she initially joined the project as a telefilm but later saw it aired as a movie on Channel i.

Reflecting on her journey in the media spanning more than ten years, Mim said, “Honestly, I am most comfortable introducing myself as a dancer. I started as a dancer, then became an actress, and later an anchor. Acting allowed me to work with many talented artists and enhance my acting skills. I aim to further establish myself as an actress, and I am sincerely grateful to the audience for their support.”
