Celebrated filmmaker Giasuddin Selim's upcoming movie ‘Kajol Rekha’, starring Sariful Razz and Mandira Chakraborty, is set to be released during the spring next year.
Meanwhile, the campaign to promote the film kicked off at Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata, the venue for yesterday’s Bangladesh-Netherlands match of the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023. Director Giasuddin Selim, Shariful Razz, and Mandira Chakraborty were present on the field to motivate the Bangladesh players and promote their film during the game.
Mandira, who plays the title role in the film, said from Kolkata, “Our initial plan was to start the ‘Kajol Rekha’ movie campaign from the World Cup cricket ground. Since it's the Cricket World Cup, a big number of cricket enthusiasts will have their eyes on the game. So, we appeared at Eden Gardens to support our country's cricketers and also promote our movie. We, including Selim Bhai and Razz, have come here with great enthusiasm. Although not everyone could make it to the promotion in Kolkata due to visa delays, everything is proceeding smoothly. We believe our entire team is with us.”

After a long wait, the hearts of the audience will be filled with ‘Kajol Rekha.’ I express my sincere gratitude to Selim Bhai for giving me the opportunity to play the title role in such a wonderful movie,” the actress added.
Mandira mentioned that they will return home in the first week of next month. Before returning home, they will enjoy the Bangladesh-Pakistan cricket match at Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata on October 31. They will also promote their movie and provide inspiration to the cricketers.
