Speakers on Tuesday said patients can get treated locally and successfully without traveling abroad as Bangladeshi doctors are capable of handling almost all types of infertility treatment.
She said this Continuous Medical Education (CME) on How to approach an infertile Couple at Heartbeat Diagnostic and Fertility Clinic in Dhaka.
The clinic hosted the program in association with Alien Pharma and Jupiter Healthcare.
Fertility consultant and Gynecologist Dr. Hasna Hossain Akhee said in this keynote paper that 40 percent males and 40 percent females are responsible for infertility in Bangladesh while both males and females are responsible the 10 percent and the remaining percent is unexplained.
The chief consultant of the Heartbeat Diagnostic and Fertility Clinic also discussed the various approaches of infertility treatment like Saline Infusion, Sonography (SIS), IUI, ICSI, IVF, TESE, Hormone therapy, Laparoscopy, and Hysteroscopy within affordable cost.
Hossain Akhee who completed her fellowship in Infertility from India and Diploma in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) said the clinic will be a one-stop service centre where patients can get all types of treatment for infertility.
Doctors, infertility specialists, gynecologists, and fertility counselors were also present.
