Five more dengue patients died and 570 patients were admitted to different hospitals in the country during the last 24 hours. "During the period, 99 dengue patients were hospitalised in Dhaka North City, 98 in Dhaka South City, 138 in Dhaka division (outside of city corporations).
34 in Rajshahi division, 54 in Barishal division, 47 in Chattogram division, 64 in Khulna division, 17 in Mymensingh division, one in Rangpur division and two in Sylhet division," said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
This year, a total of 514 people died of dengue disease, it added.
Meanwhile, 627 dengue patients have been discharged from hospitals across the country in last 24 hours. With this, a total of 92,001 people have been discharged this year.
