On December 16, 2024, Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Bangladesh organised a free medical camp to commemorate the nation's Victory Day. The camp provided free medical consultations and distributed medicines to visitors in need. Hakim Saifuddin Murad, Director of Marketing and Sales at Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Bangladesh, presided over the event.
Speakers reflected on the organisation's journey after the Liberation War of 1971 during the event. Dr. Hakim Md. Yousuf Harun Bhuiyan revived the war-damaged Hamdard with a modest capital of only 50,000 BDT and six times the liabilities.
Continuing this legacy, Hamdard Bangladesh remains steadfast in its mission to ensure health and education rights for all. Hamdard's efforts have brought care and compassion to countless lives nationwide.
The speakers emphasised that it is everyone's duty to contribute to humanitarian services and work collectively for Bangladesh's progress.
The event was held in the courtyard of Hamdard's Urban Marketing Centre in Banglamotor, Dhaka, and was attended by numerous organisation officials and employees.
