On Sunday (5 November) morning, a pilot died and a passenger was injured when a gyrocopter crashed in the Australian state of Victoria, stated the local police.
At around 7:15 a.m. australian time, a gyrocopter crashed to the ground at a private property on Snipey Road in Goulburn Weir, the place of accident is located about 145 km north of Melbourne.
Victoria Police confirmed that there were two people on board.
"The yet-to-be-formally identified pilot died at the scene and his passenger was airlifted to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries," the police said.
At the current stage, the exact cause of the crash is yet to be determined.
The police also called on anyone who witnessed the incident to provide related information or video footage.
