Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said on Sunday (3 March) he had discussed the situation in the Caucasus, the Black Sea region and in Syria with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
The top diplomats held a meeting at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum on Friday.
"There are a lot of issues on the agenda. In addition to bilateral cooperation, we have discussed regional issues. We have had an opportunity to discuss the peace process in the Caucasus [between Armenia and Azerbaijan], we have also discussed the processes that are underway through different channels and are related to security issues in the Black Sea. We also need to discuss a number of issues concerning Syria, it takes more time, but we have managed to touch upon the topic and we have agreed to give more time to it," Fidan told a press conference at the forum.
