Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyadh al-Maliki told Sputnik that he hopes to reach an agreement between Hamas and Israel on a ceasefire before the beginning of the month of Ramadan.
"...This is something that is actually being carried out by the US, Qatar, Egypt and Israel. We are crossing our fingers for success because it is very important for us to reach an agreement before the beginning of the month of Ramadan so that we can start it without casualties, without killings," al-Maliki said.
